I found a new silence- That didnt come from the outside It was the secrets in my chest- no longer wanting to hide Many intense things have happened to me, but I have glossed them over so I can be free. Now I am here same place feeling the memories
What am I? Why am I here? Questions have me spinning my gears It's important to know how do I feel So I can stay true to what is real. A wound re-opened shook me to my core All of a sudden my memory felt sore A floodgate of emotion like a tsunami
I have to let go and slow down so I can make my own sound I have to feel okay without knowing why even if it makes me cry I have to relax and rest Even if it is my biggest test I have to focus on ongoing chores So I can stay focused without remorse
They say silence is golden right? We have to spark up the courage to make ourselves light The real work is in solitude And how we carry our attitudes To focus on our inner most work Is a deeper discovery than identifying as a clerk Our true purpose
